Our Programs
Florida Youth Maritime Training offers accredited vocational training designed to qualify individuals as Marine Service Technicians, as recognized by the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC). Completing our training program and passing the Marine Service Technician assessment grants certification from both the ABYC and the National Occupational Competency Testing Institute (NOCTI).
High School Program
Our program provides a structured progression in maritime skills. Initially, participants are introduced to safe boating, basic rowing, and sailing. As they advance, they learn boat building and keelboat sailing. Further into the program, they gain experience through adventure sailing excursions, including trips to the Dry Tortugas. In the final stage, participants enter the Marine Service Technician program, with the opportunity to advance into the Merchant Mariner Program.
